THE City of Belmont will be selling all of its land within The Springs precinct Rivervale to LandCorp. The sale excludes the land comprising Cracknell Park and will remove a perceived conflict of interest caused by the Council being both a land owner within The Springs and an approving authority. Lots 100 to 103 Great Eastern Highway, Lot 62 Malvern Road and Lot 89 Rowe Avenue will be sold to LandCorp for $2,425,000 and it is expected the group will transform the under utilised area into a “riverside gem”.
