Mexican chain Taco Bell have confirmed plans to open in Perth, with a restaurant in Midland to launch later this year.
The Australian branch of the business, which launched nearly 50 years ago in California, is controlled by ASX-listed Collins Foods.
Collins also runs KFC in Australia, and formerly operated Sizzler.
The company told markets in a recent presentation it planned to build three new restaurants in the second half of the 2021 financial year.
It comes after phenomenal growth in Mexican inspired chain restaurants in Australia in recent years.
Guzman y Gomez was founded in New South Wales in 2006, now the business has more than 100 locations around the world.
