TK Maxx to open two Perth stores

Retail giant TK Maxx is set to open two stores in Perth as the global chain expands its presence in Western Australia.

TK Maxx is a fashion apparel and home wares retailer which purchases off-season or over-produced merchandise to re-sell at a lower price.

The US-based global chain will open a store at Midland Gate shopping centre this spring alongside its previously announced Ocean Keys Shopping Centre store, also set to open in the same season.

TK Maxx announced its expansion into Western Australia earlier this year and plans to open “multiple stores” in Perth over the next few years.

“We’re excited to announce that our second TK Maxx store in Perth will be at Midland Gate,” TK Maxx Australia spokesperson Tony Dunseath said.

“This is a significant next step in building our footprint in WA, as we continue to deliver the fun and thrill of ‘Big Brands at Small Prices’ to more shoppers in the community.”

TK Maxx has opened 77 stores nationwide since launching in Australia in 2017 and has more than 700 stores worldwide.
