LISTED bamboo furniture purveyor Style Plantation and its strand woven bamboo consortium has joined forces with US company Teragren LLC to dominate the world markets for the product.
The strand woven bamboo consortium also includes People’s Republic of China-based Anji Yan Feng Bamboo Products and SPI Company Limited.
Teragren is a Seattle-based manufacturer and distributor of sustainably harvested bamboo flooring, panels and veneers.
It has extensive reach within the North American market and the logistical ability to support the strand woven product internationally.
Style Plantation managing director described the agreement as a "major milestone" for the company.
He said the agreement was designed to underwrite the production and sale of rhe one million square metre capacity Ya Feng was building towards over the coming months.
