Strategy suffers

NEW research has revealed company strategy is suffering at the expense of board practice and member relationships, and could affect the global competitiveness of some Australian businesses.

Some WA companies hoping not to have been affected by the implications of the September 11 attacks in the US have nonetheless been forced to announce revisions of their plans. Others, however, are hoping there are investors out there who will take advantage of weak prices and reward those continuing with plans to grow their business.

Some interesting proposed share issues and options allotments have been announced recently, one in particular with a lot riding on it.
