Steinepreis Paganin is set to move to QV1, following a string of leasing deals in the CBD tower over the last 12 months.

The law firm will relocate its headquarters from 16 Milligan Street to the 43-storey tower, after signing a 10-year lease.

It will occupy level 14 of QV1, across 1,164 square metres.

The deal follows BP’s commitment to move into the St Georges Terrace asset earlier this year, as well as JERA Australia and Euroz Hartley’s agreements to lease space in QV1.

Steinepreis Paganin managing partner Mark Foster said the building was ideally located for the firm, with quality amenity for staff.

“The move will ensure that we remain well placed to continue to deliver a high-quality service to all of our clients,” he said.

CBRE director advisory and transaction services Luke Bray, who brokered the leasing transaction, said the move allowed Steinepreis Paganin to lease a space that suited their requirements.

“Having been based at 16 Milligan Street for some time, Steinepreis Paganin was keen to stay in Perth’s west end precinct,” he said.

“QV1 offered them the opportunity to align their accommodation with their premium brand and market positioning.”

QV1 general manager Theo Smyrniotis said the transaction reflected the growing trend towards office space that provided benefits to workers.

“Increasingly so, organisations are looking at the full scope of benefits that a work environment offers their employees,” he said.

“This includes not only the physical environment of their offices, but the holistic experience across the precinct, including the provision of wellness facilities, a community activation program, retail provisions, sustainability initiatives and more.”

Law firm Herbert Smith Freehills and Chevron departed QV1 last year, leaving 40,000sqm vacant in the building.
