Sons of Gwalia Ltd said it had discovered a new zone of gold mineralisation 200 metres east of the find at the Red October prospect in WA. Sons of Gwalia was manager and 50 percent joint venture partner with Mt Burgess Gold Mining Co in the Butcher Well Gold project which included the Red October prospect. Red October is on Mt Carey, south-east of Leonora. The company said since the September quarter, drilling had encountered mineralisation in five holes.
