CLOUGH managing director David Singleton (left) has agreed to become chairman of the Centre of Excellence in e-Medicine, while Sue Wong has been appointed e-Med Centre manager. Officially opened by Premier Geoff Gallop in August, e-Med will focus on new ways of meeting the healthcare needs of people in rural and remote locations. Its core partners are Edith Cowan University, the Lions Eye Institute, the University of WA and the Australian National University in Canberra. It has secured $2.25 million in state funding and is seeking to attract an additional $15 million.
