Revere Mining appoints new MD

North Perth-based Revere Mining Ltd has appointed chemical engineer Bruce Hawley as its new managing director, following the resignation of Tony Burns.

Mr Hawley has 35 years experience in the exploration, development, and construction of mining projects, and is a chartered manager and fellow of the AusIMM.

He has had a successful career in the building of innovative and focused teams to maximise benefits to the companies' shareholders.

Mr Burns intends to follow other business opportunities, however, Revere plan to engage Mr Burns' services in the future as a consultant.

The company thanked Mr Burns for his efforts during the initial public offer period and over the last 6 months and wished him well for the furture.

Revere said it was in a strong financial position and had made significant progress on the establishment of base line geological data for the company's tenements.
