Accounting firm RSM Bird Cameron will be taking part in the re-branding of the business by its international parent company, which plans to rename all factions of the global firm to a single entity, RSM.

RSM Bird Cameron, which born as Bird Cameron in Perth in 1922, has 18 offices in WA and 28 nationally, and has been a part of the RSM network for over 50 years.

RSM Bird Cameron is ranked #5 on our BNiQ list of accountants.

National chairman Kim Hutchinson said the decision to move to a global unified brand was a natural extension of the firm’s increased international operations across the network.

“While the network has been operating together for more than 50 years, this decision provides clarity to the market and importantly, to our clients, about who they are dealing with in 114 countries around the world,” he said.

The changes will take effect from the end of October, with all RSM member firms to adopt the unified global name but will remain independent legal entities within the network.

RSM Bird Cameron has 30 partners on staff and employs 268 accountants in WA.

RSM International is the world’s sixth largest provider of tax services, has the fifth largest firm in the US and the third largest in China.

It was the fastest growing top ten global network in 2014, posting an 18 per cent increase in revenue, year-on-year, to US$4.4 billion for the year ending 31 December 2014.
