Qube Property Group is set to develop a housing estate in Bullsbrook, following a joint venture with a farming family in the area.

The Subiaco-based property developer has entered a 50 per cent joint venture with the existing landowners of 491 hectares at Lot 901 Lage Road, with a view to establishing a 173-lot estate.

The Park family, who currently own the land, intend to continue farming the area that has not been set aside for development.

Qube managing director Mark Hector described the site as one of the best undeveloped parcels of land in Perth's outer suburbs.

“The site’s elevated location with views back to the city, across to the Walyunga National Park, west to the coast and north to the hills is one of its key selling points as is the access to the growing Bullsbrook town centre, Tonkin Highway and the city,” he said.

He said the site’s proximity to Stock Road, which was undergoing a major upgrade to improve connectivity to the area, enhanced its appeal.

The estate, to be named Yarrimbah Heights, is scheduled to launch in September with the release of 18 lots.

Mr Hector added that the subsequent stages could be brought forward depending on buyer demand.

“There has been a surge in buyer demand post Covid with flexibility and the increase in remote working conditions contributing to the demand for commutable rural residential properties such as this,” he said

Bullsbrook is about 40km north east of Perth.
