GEL Group was established in Western Australia in 1996 by recruitment industry professionals with an aim to provide a strategic recruitment service to employers, and understanding and direction to job seekers. The group was bought in May 2005 by Rubicor Ltd, one of Australia’s largest and most diverse recruitment and staffing groups. Gel Group provides its employment service in five key areas – accounting and finance, information technology, mining and resources, government, and executive search. The WA division of the group consists of 35 staff, including 29 consultants, and is managed by joint CEOs Greg Halton and Tony Jackson. Gel Group is ranked in the 2007 WA Business News Book of Lists as the eighth largest employment service provider in WA.
