IFAP, a non-government, not-for-profit, member based organisation, has been providing services to improve safety and health in the workplace for more than 30 years. With centres in Perth, Fremantle, North Lake and Kalgoorlie, IFAP provides leading safety training and consulting solutions for all industry sectors in the areas of occupational safety and health, sea survival and emergency response, construction and equipment skills, crisis and emergency management, and fire safety. IFAP also organises a number of high-profile safety events, including the annual Safety2006 Conference to be held in Perth in November. With more than 60 staff in WA, including 35 qualified consulting staff, the organisation is ranked as the number nine management consultancy firm in WA, according to the 2006 WA Business News Book of Lists. IFAP has been headed by managing director Martin Ralph since August 2001.
