Presentation Technology buys Perth event production provider

Belmont-based event production and management services provider Corporate Theatre Productions has been sold to Presentation Technology for an undisclosed amount.

Presentation Technology, a privately owned company held by Perth Audiovisual owner Peter Blewett, has retained founder Vaughan Emery who will resume his duties at the helm, with the firm to continue to operate as its own business.

“Corporate Theatre was one of the pioneers of business event staging in WA and I am very proud of everything we’ve achieved over the past 25 years,” Mr Emery said.

“This decision was about paving the way for continued success and a strong future for the company.”

Mr Emery said the two companies had different business models, but the similarities were in how they approached business.

“We have always shared the same focus on client service, technical direction and the importance of team,” he said.

“Our skilled and experienced Corporate Theatre team will continue to create and deliver high-quality event experiences for our clients with operations from our Belmont headquarters, and our branch at Hyatt Regency Perth remaining unchanged.”

Corporate Theatre said it has provided services to business organisations and government departments such as Bankwest, Qantas, Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA, City of Perth, University of Western Australia, Woodside Petroleum and Wesfarmers.
