Premium debut for Emerson Stewart

Engineering and project management business Emerson Stewart Group Ltd has made a premium debut on the stock market today with its shares opening at a 15 per cent above its 20 cent issue price today.

Shares in the company opened at 23c before rallying slightly to an intraday high of 25c. Shares then closed at its openin price.

The debut follows an oversubscribed initial public offer, which raised $8 million through the issue of 40 million shares.

The company, established in 2005, provides advisory, project implementation and development services across the resources, infrastructure and energy sectors.

On the board is co-founders Dario Amara and Angelo Dabala who take up the roles of managing director and executive director respectively, Stephen Cole as non-executive chairman, David Richardson and Jamie Cullen serve as non-executive directors and Rod Smith takes up the chief financial officer position.
