The WA Pork Producers’ Association has a new executive officer, David McFerran.
Mr McFerran was an executive officer with the WA Farmers’ Federation from 2000 until 2002.
Prior to this he researched and lectured in animal sciences over four years at the University of Western Australia.
Mr McFerran comes from a dairy farming background, at Cowaramup.
A first-grade cricketer with University since 1995, Mr McFerran describes himself as an aspiring State player.
