Administrators appointed to Perth firm Accident Claims Lawyers last week say they are currently working to finalise a restructuring proposal.

Hamilton Murphy Advisory’s Stephen Dixon and Trent Hancock were appointed administrators of Accident Claims Lawyers on Friday, as revealed by an Australian Securities and Investment Commission notice.

Established in 2017, Accident Claims Lawyers is a personal injury law practice located on St Georges Terrace with a focus on motor vehicle accidents and workers' compensation claims.

The business, which appears to be led by commercial director Simon Shaw, has claimed to be Western Australia’s largest personal injury law firm. It’s unclear how many staff it employs.

It’s understood the Perth business will continue to trade as usual throughout the administration process, with no impact to existing clients.

The administrators said they were working urgently to finalise a restructuring proposal for the company within the next five to six weeks.

“We appreciate the support of all stakeholders as we consolidate the company’s information and we will continue to urgently expedite the administration process,” Mr Dixon said.

Accident Claims Lawyers’ creditors are set to meet on March 7 to consider whether to appoint a committee of inspection or resolve to remove the administrators.
