Dr Matthew Painter has been appointed general manager exploration for Sabre Resources Ltd. Dr Painter joined the Geological Survey of WA in 1997 as part of the regional mapping group based in Kalgoorlie. He has also worked for Anglogold Ltd on the development of the Sunrise Dam gold mine and for RSG-Global (now Coffey Mining) on a wide range of projects in both Australia and overseas.
