THE board of Precious Metals Australia Limited has appointed Michael Kiernan as a non-executive director of the company. Mr Kiernan has more than 30 years’ experience in the transport, mining, contracting and resource industries, and will contribute his expertise to the company’s re-development of the Windimurra vanadium mine. Mr Kiernan was previously managing director of Consolidated Minerals Ltd and has had a long association with Noble Resources Ltd, with which PMA has entered into a strategic marketing and logistics agreement. Mr Kiernan is currently the non-executive chairman of Monarch Gold Mining Company and Mineral Resources Ltd.
