Oswal's Baldivis land up for sale

A large tract of development land in Baldivis formerly owned by Pankaj Oswal has hit the market.

Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed by Taylor Woodings as exclusive agents to sell the 76 hectare site through a formal expressions of interest campaign.

The development site was created by Mr Oswal's companies Oswal Developments and Osdev by acquiring 15 adjoining lots over a number of years.

The 15-title package is bordered by Baldivis Road, Zig Zag Road and the Kwinana Freeway.

Taylor Woodings' Michael Ryan and Ian Francis were appointed receivers and managers for the site in February.

"A formal marketing process will be conducted by Jones Lang LaSalle to allow the market to assess the property and submit offers," Mr Ryan said.

"We expect the response to the process to be very positive given the strategic nature of the land holding and the level of enquiry we have received already."

Jones Lang LaSalle sales and investments director Nigel Freshwater said he expected a keen interest in the site from private developers, syndicators and publicly-listed development firms.
