SURFWEAR retailer Optima expects strong US summer sales after securing distribution through the Jacks US retail group.
The locally based and ASX-listed group, which owns the West and Creatures of Leisure brands, said US sales had increased 100 per cent each month after first cracking the US market in January.
The company said a recent marketing drive and the appointment of a sales representative in Hawaii had also paid dividends, with its first sales into this territory recorded in March.
