Skira chairs Water Corp

Eva Skira (pictured) has been appointed as chairperson of the Water Corporation, following the retirement of Patrick O’Connor. Ms Skira is deputy chairman of St John of God Healthcare Group and deputy chancellor of Murdoch University. She also holds directorships with Macmahon Holdings, RCR Tomlinson, MDA National and the Australian National Maritime Museum. National Lifestyle Villages executive director Michael Hollett has been appointed as a board member of the state government-owned utility for a two-year term.

Sanderson, Howell join Downer

Kerry Sanderson and Eve Howell have been appointed as non-executive directors of engineering and infrastructure management service provider Downer EDI. Ms Sanderson was previously based in London as the agent-general for the state government. Before that she was chief executive officer of the Fremantle Port Authority. Ms Howell is Woodside Energy’s executive vice-president – health, safety and security and before that was executive vice-president North West Shelf. She was previously managing director of Apache Energy in WA and is a director of the WA Ballet.

Bartlett heads to CBH Group

Former Capricorn Society chief executive Trent Bartlett has been appointed to the board of WA grain handler CBH Group as an independent director to replace retiring director Peter Knowles. Mr Bartlett is CEO of Peter Stannard Homes and a director of Kresta Holdings and Good Samaritan Industries. 

Hallam joins Gindalbie

Iron ore explorer Gindalbie Metals has appointed Paul Hallam as a non-executive director. Mr Hallam was previously director of operations at Fortescue Metals Group and before that was executive general manager, development and projects with gold producer Newcrest Mining.
