Langoulant, Ellis join GESB

John Langoulant (pictured) and Scott Ellis have been appointed as employer directors at WA-based super provider GESB. Mr Langoulant is the chief executive officer of Oakajee Port & Rail and held previous chief executive positions at Australian Capital Equity and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia. Mr Langoulant is also the former under-treasurer of Western Australia. Mr Ellis is a Barrister at Francis Burt Chambers and was previously a partner at Freehills for more than a decade.

Wills joins Quickstep board

Quickstep has appointed former managing partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Sydney, David Wills, as a non-executive director. Mr Wills is currently a non-executive director on a number of boards including Washington H Soul Pattinson & Company, Clover Corporation, Souls Private Equity and Wesfarmers General Insurance.

Davin resigns as Vmoto posts loss

Vmoto managing director and co-founder Patrick Davin has resigned from the company. Vmoto’s board also said it was planning on undertaking a detailed review of the company’s operations, its trading and financial position following an annoucement that Vmoto posted a $2.24 million loss for the first half of the 2011 financial year.

Port Hedland Port looking for new CEO

Port Hedland Port Authority chief executive officer Andre Bush will finish up at the end of his five-year contract on December 5. The Authority had not been able to reach mutually agreeable terms to secure Mr Bush’s services beyond the conclusion of his current contract.

Neptune Marine boss resigns

Neptune Marine chief executive officer Christian Lange has resigned from the position. He will be replaced in an acting capacity by Neptune's regional vice president Robin King. Mr Lange had been in the position since February 2006.
