THE Telstra WA Small Business Development Corporation Awards is calling for nominations.
Minister for Small Business Hendy Cowan said a Young Business Achiever Award would be awarded this year to encourage those aged between 18 and 25.
The four main categories for this year’s awards are:
• Micro-Business Award for businesses with fewer than five employees
• Business Award for businesses with fewer than 20 employees
• Business Award for businesses with fewer than 50 employees
• Innovation Award for businesses with fewer than 100 employees.
Nominations are also sought for the Entre-preneur of the Year Award, which is presented to an individual business owner.
Entries close on 5 September.
