No buts about it – super choice is here!

Tuesday, 17 May, 2005 - 22:00
The Securities Institute is presenting a seminar about the future of superannuation on Thursday May 26 at the Duxton Hotel. It aims to help attendees understand the pivotal role that advisers play when advising clients on their options under the new super choice regime. Topics to be covered include what the law says and what the regulators expect, essential knowledge about fees, costs and disclosure, and a checklist for compliance. Handouts will feature a comprehensive guide to super choice and a bullet-proof statement of advice. Capital Partners financial consultant David Andrew will speak, along with a senior Australian Securities and Investment Commission representative and other industry practitioners. The seminar is aimed at financial advisers and planners, stockbrokers, accountants, licensees, and compliance managers. It costs $89 for Institute members and $99 for non-members.
