Sue Mitchell has become the first woman ever appointed Chief Commissioner of the Scout Association of Australia Western Australian Branch.
Ms Mitchell has been involved with scouts for 12 years. Her children were involved in scouts.
More recently she was the leader of 1st Canning Sea Scouts and was District commissioner for Beeloo District, in Perth’s eastern suburbs.
Ms Mitchell works at the Australian Taxation Office.
