SUPREME Court Judge Michael Barker has been appointed president of the new State Administrative Tribunal.
District Court Judge John Chaney and barrister Judith Eckert have been appointed deputy presidents.
Ms Eckert will first be appointed to the District Court.
Justice Barker chaired the Western Australian Civil and Administrative Review Tribunal Taskforce, whose report formed the basis for the foundation of the SAT.
The SAT will take over the disciplinary functions of 48 boards and tribunals and have an annual budget of $10.2 million.
