ROTTNEST Island Taskforce member Paolo Amaranti has been made the new CEO of Rottnest Island.
Mr Amaranti replaces Lesley Smith, who had been acting in the position.
Indeed, Mr Amaranti has himself been acting in the position for the past two months.
Besides his involvement with the taskforce, Mr Amaranti has also held senior positions in the Western Australian Tourism Commission and the old Department of Commerce and Trade.
