WESTERN Warrior Sean Cary (pictured left) has taken on a new focus in his employment at the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA).
Previously the promotions and sales manager, Mr Cary is now the membership services manager and is responsible for the product development and servicing of the WACA’s members.
He will be part of the extensive research to be undertaken to determine how WACA members and the general public feel towards different membership packages and how to best utilise the new facilities at the ground, which are due to be completed in time for the next Ashes series to be held in Australia, in the 2002-2003 season.
Mr Cary says the new facilities planned for the WACA will offer cricket and sporting enthusiasts a more family-focused stadium with grass banks and shady tree covered areas, combined with an upmarket corporate function area and coterie group facilities.
Mr Cary started working for the WACA as the sales manager in 1988, six years before his debut game with the Western Warriors against England in the 1994-95 season.
He has played 37 first-class matches and has taken 99 first-class wickets.
