Prominent Carnarvon businessman Kevin Leahy has been appointed chairman of the Gascoyne Development Commission.Mr Leahy is a former member of Western Australia’s Legislative Assembly for the region and has had a previous term on the GDC board.His appointment as chairman is until June 2007 and he replaces outgoing chairman Richard Patty.Two other GDC board appointments were also confirmed, with Heather Condo and Denis Wade appointed until June 2008.
