Sherlock Bay Nickel Corporation has made three new appointments.
Darren Hedley has been appointed to the role of operations manager. He is a mining engineer with over 15 years’ experience in the resource industry and has exposure to both underground and pit mining across a range of commodities – primarily nickel and gold.
Phil Higgins has been engaged as engineering manager on a contract basis to provide direction and overall supervision to the company’s consulting engineers. Mr Higgins has experience in the nickel sector having been employed with WMC at its Kambalda and Mt Keith nickel operations.
Greg O’Reilly has been appointed chief financial officer and company secretary on a contract basis until a permanent replacement is sourced. Mr O’Reilly was most recently employed as commercial manager with a major international gold producer.
