Education provider Navitas has rejected speculation that it is participating in the sale process of ABC Learning Centres.
In a statement today, Navitas said that while it continuously assessed acquisitive growth opportunities, Navitas said it had not submitted a bid for ABC.
The statement was in response to an article in today's Australian Financial Review.
"Navitas applies strict filters to ensure all new initiatives fit the Navitas model, can benefit from being part of the Navitas group and are earnings accretive," the company said.
Shares in Navitas were down 13 cents to $4.05 at 15:51 AEDT.
