Global education services provider Navitas Ltd has acquired Cytech Intersearch Pty Ltd, a small NSW-based labour hire company servicing the healthcare industry.

Cytech Intersearch will be situated within the Recruitment Services arm of the Perth-based Navitas Workforce Division, which is focused on providing industry with appropriately trained and skilled individuals to meet current and future workforce needs.

Cytech Intersearch will form the platform for the growth of the company's labour recruitment services.

Navitas' Chief Executive Officer Rod Jones said that Navitas has a sophisticated strategy for delivery of skilled labour into Australian businesses that uses Navitas' global footprint to source, train and place people into industry.

"We are confident that long term labour and skill shortages are best addressed by an organisation that can be flexible in recruiting people and providing industry with work-ready, skilled individuals."

Cytech Intersearch offers a range of services from staffing hospital teams to placing individual nurses. Its specialisation in filling specific Health Care shortages for key teams or departments is a niche market, which requires precise skills and qualifications to be sourced from all corners of the globe.

Recruitment Services is part of Navitas Workforce Solutions which offers Navitas' corporate clients a full range of customised human capital management products and services. "This is strategic growth for us and we look forward to translating that into meaningful value for shareholders."
