Variety WA is a charity committed to enabling disadvantaged and disabled children to experience a better quality of life through the provision of goods and services. It acts as an umbrella organisation in helping other children’s groups and charities as well as raising funds for its own initiatives. The next event on Variety’s calendar is the Shannons River Ride for Variety WA on Sunday October 15 and it is calling for motorbike riders to enjoy a scenic ride around the river for charity. Starting from Deepwater Point at 10am, the bikers will follow a 63-kilometre course around the Swan River back to the Point, before heading off to lunch at Rockabilly Diner, Pioneer Village for lunch and prize draws.
