The Western Australian Music industry Association represents the State’s contemporary music industry to all levels of government as well as the wider community. It develops policy on issue of importance to musicians and other music business participants.

WAM runs two events each year – the Kiss My WAMi Original Contemporary Music Festival and the WAM Song of the Year, a State wide search for the State’s best song writing talent. The Kiss My WAMi festival incorporates more than 100 individual events in two weeks in spring.
