The Australia-Indonesia Business Council (WA Branch) is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to build business ties between Indonesia and Australia. It has about 120 members made up of individuals, small to medium-sized enterprises and large corporations. It is part of a national organisation.

One of AIBC’s main roles in the coming months is to lobby the new Indonesian Government to try and improve the bureaucratic processes that many companies face when dealing with Indonesia. Another concern of the council is Qantas’ decision to change its flights to Jakarta to a three-times a week service that flies in the middle of the night.
