Councillors: Brett Davies , Helen Cook , Jo Dawkins , Alan Dodge , Annie Fogarty, John Hanley, AM, Marlene Stafford, Ian Trahar. The foundation at the gallery was established in 1989 and has been an invaluable resource for the acquisition of numerous works that would otherwise be unobtainable. Membership to the foundation can be attained by either a tax-deductible cash donation or via a donation of a work of art to the gallery through the Commonwealth Government’s Cultural Gifts Program. These donations can be completed over a five-year period, maximising the tax benefit for the individual, family or company. Foundation members also have the opportunity to be the first to preview the upcoming Norman Lindsay-Drawn to Women Exhibition at a private event with gallery director Alan Dodge on Thursday October 12. This exhibition will be the first display of the complete set of Norman Lindsay’s published etchings. More information, 9492 6761.
