Monadelphous changes the big end

Tuesday, 10 June, 2003 - 22:00

WA listed company Monadelphous Limited has engineered some major board and management changes following a strategic organisational review.

Chairman John Rubino said the changes were aimed at achieving long-term growth for the company.

These included Mr Rubino stepping down as managing director to continue in the sole role of board chairman.

Executive director and group general manager Rob Velletri has moved up to take over as managing director.

Company secretary and finance director Irwin Tollman will retire from those roles next month but will stay on the board as a non-executive director.

The board will gain a new face and expertise, that of former AW Baulderstone (Holdings) managing director Peter Dempsey who is joining as a non-executive director.

Recently appointed general manager finance and accounting Giles Everist will add company secretary to his responsibilities.

Monadelphous will no longer have a group general manager.
