Minbos Resources has appointed Everspring Partners as its strategic advisor, as the Perth-based explorer seeks finance, off-take and development partners for its suite of phosphate and potash projects in Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Minbos said it was “very pleased” with the level of interest in its projects from potential partners, and had appointed Sydney-based Everspring to assist in determining the most appropriate suitors.

The company said it intended to develop a framework with Everspring for an orderly submission of offers.

“The appointment of Everspring to assist in the process of identifying strategic partners is a fundamental step towards implementing the necessary framework to facilitate the off-take, funding and development of Minbos’ key phosphate projects,” executive chairman Peter Richards said.

“The implementation of this process is part of the boards’ strategy to ensure that the ultimate parties are able to assist with the delivery of each project and creation of value for shareholders.

“the high level of industry enquiries received by the company in recent months reflects what we believe are some of the most exciting phosphate projects being investigated worldwide.”

Minbos is exploring more than 400,000 hectares of highly phosphate-prospective ground in Angola and the Congo, and is focused on completing bankable feasibility studies for its Cacata project and the Kanzi project.
