Disability support services group Crosslinks Incorporated has bought a Midland gym for $2.68 million, with a view to repurposing the building.

The 1,500 square metre building, previously owned by Patricia Florence Marjoram, sits on a 4,682sqm parcel of land at 344 Great Eastern Highway, Midland.

Formerly a Laurie Potter Health Club, the building was most recently Renaissance Gym, with a spa, sauna and spin room.

Luke Randazzo of Burgess Rawson, who helped broker the deal, said the local non for profit planned to refurbish and repurpose the building into its Midland office headquarters.

“The buyer will invest a significant amount of capital refurbishing and repurposing the building into a fantastic office space that services the community with excellent access, parking and exposure on Great Eastern Highway,” he said.

The sale price excludes GST.
