Midland Brick has been awarded a WorkSafe Gold Certificate for achieving high safety standards throughout 2004.
Midland Brick has more than 500 staff and the award reflects a safety record increase from 55 per cent in 2002 to 84 per cent in 2004.
WorkSafe said the company was chosen for the award by demonstrating good progress in safety and health management and low levels of work-related injuries.
