Sally Mansfield has been appointed director of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s WA branch.
Ms Mansfield was formerly consul-general in Noumea.
She replaces Stephen Scott, who held the WA directorship for 18 months.
Mr Scott has been posted to the Australian embassy in China as counsellor for economic issues.
