Managing Performance

Tuesday, 6 July, 2004 - 22:00

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold a Managing Performance program on Thursday July 15.

The program will explore why it’s important that performance management is a year-round activity, and why annual appraisals may not always be effective.

Attendees will improve their knowledge and ability to put in place an effective employee management program.

Topics covered include why performance needs to be managed, managing negative attitudes to performance management, setting standards, giving effective and constructive feedback, confronting performance problems and going through a three-step problem solving method, and making sure performance appraisals are conducted smoothly.

Registrations can be made with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for $286 for members and $407 for non-members.
