Managing Occupational Health and Safety

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold Managing Occupational Health and Safety on Wednesday February 9 at their training centre in East Perth.

The aim of the workshop is to provide attendees with the knowledge and skills to effectively implement and supervise a workplace risk management program.

The workshop will involve practical and interactive activities designed to relate to actual workplace situations.

Topics on the agenda include legislative requirements and responsibilities for OSH in the workplace, major hazard identification and control, developing and implementing safety management systems, risk assessment skills and techniques, job safety analysis and procedure development, accident/incident investigation, and workplace inspection skills, a workers’ compensation overview and auditing the workplace and action planning.
