MICHAEL Smith has been appointed chairman of the board of the UWA Perth International Arts Festival.
Mr Smith, managing director of The Marketing Centre and former chairman of the West Coast Eagles, is filling the position formerly held by Supreme Court Justice Christine Wheeler who has led the Festival through the past four years.
