REGULAR readers will know that The Note likes to poke a bit of fun every now and again, so it seems only fair to give a plug for some local laughs. Fellow smile enthusiasts should head down to Subiaco between March 21 and April 1 for the inaugural Wild West Comedy Festival. Visitors to Subi may find themselves bumping into funnymen Jimeoin, Akmal and the Umbilical Brothers, who are all scheduled to perform at the event. Organisers of the Wild West Comedy Festival say there will be a mixture of stand-up, sketch, music, film and street theatre on show.
