Fremantle boutique brewer Little Creatures has celebrated International IPA Day in style, announcing it will add an India Pale Ale to its stable of permanent beers.
The brewer, which was bought out by Japanese beverages giant Kirin midway through last year, will make its IPA available from the first week of September.
"The decision to add a new ale to our little family was not made lightly," Little Creatures said in a statement.
"We chatted with our community of Hopheads, debated at the brewhouse and did our fair share of research too."
IPA Day was founded by craft beer enthusiasts in the US in 2011.
