A LUXURY cruise vessel to be based in Darwin, the Oceanic Odyssey, will make its maiden voyage from Darwin to Bali on 3 July.
Operated by Spice Island Cruises, the Oceanic Odyssey accommodates 120 passengers and will sail from Darwin to Bali via the Indonesian Spice Islands, returning every second Saturday.
The second phase of the company’s commitment to Darwin as a cruising hub will commence in March 2000, when it will base a larger ship in Darwin carrying around 400 people on the same route.
