WESTERN Australia’s Legislative Council voted 21:10 in favour of a daylight saving trial starting December 3. Council’s decision will see daylight saving introduced on a three-year trial, to be followed by a referendum in 2009. West Australians have rejected daylight saving in three referendums over the past 31 years.
