LaCava lauded for growth

LA Cava Building Company principal Vincent La Cava has received the President’s Award of Distinction at the reborn International Business Awards.

Mr La Cava’s business has been involved with the construction of El Caballo Blanco and the stone-works of the Burswood Resort and Casino. He is also the president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce.

Aztech Investments won the International Business Award. The company, headed by Geoffrey Saker and Mike Lee is involved in primary agriculture exports, breeding R&D, transport and consulting.

Jarvis Estate claimed the Home-operated Business Award. The winery has managed to crack the Irish market and its wines are being purchased by a Greek distributor.

Calytrix won the new business award. Besides its push into the US, Calytrix is one of the few Western Australian companies to be involved in the Joint Strike Fighter project.
